Join a class:
You can join the Vertical Dance pole dancing classes,
courses and lessons at any time as we cater our choreographed pole
fitness and exercise routines to each participants level. All you
need to do is book your pole dance lesson online stating your
preferred start date in the note section, print out your
conformation and come along to your pole class.
You need to prepare yourself for a workout, so you
should wear tracksuit, T-Shirt, trainers/jazz shoes and shorts.
Please DO NOT apply creams or lotions to your body before attending
your pole dance class.

Stop Bruising &
Chaffing:
Bruising and chaffing is general caused by lack of body strength.
The arms are not strong enough to support the bodies weigh so the
legs over compensate by gripping on to the pole too tightly,
alternatively the hands grip the pole too tightly allowing the lower
body to spin but the lead hand to stop, this will result in chaffing
of the wrists and arms. As your strength and technique begins to
improve your bruising and chaffing becomes less and less. For wrists
and arms we recommend placing sweat bands on the offending areas,
for knees and legs, you should buy dance knee pad or use rolled over
leg warmer and for feet you should try jazz shoes or yoga trainers.
How Many are
in the class:
We do not have more than 15 people in the
class unless there are more than one instructor or more poles. We
have a minimum of 5 poles so we never have more than 3 to a pole. In
most cases it less. You will get ample time on the pole.
Clean my pole:
If your pole is removable you need to take
it down every few weeks and take it apart so the joins to not get
stuck together. Clean the pole with soapy water and dry well. You
can also use a damp chamois leather on a daily basis to take off the
body oils. Make sure your pole is always kept in a dry environment
to avoid any corrosion.
Stop myself
from slipping:
You need to have clean dry hands at all
time when on the pole. In some cases people suffer from hyper
hydration, this is when the palms of the hands become very sweaty.
Unfortunately there is nothing on the market to stop this, how ever
there are lots of products to minimise this, there is no product
that suits everyone, you need to try some out to see which suits you

The videos work
There can be a number of reasons:
- You are using a MAC computer, our system is not compatible to
Mac's so we do not recommend that you purchase online lessons or the
online instructor course if you have either of these.
- You have dial up or slow broadband connection. Our Videos can not
be viewed on either so we do not recommend that you purchase online
lessons or the online instructor course if you have these. The
videos will play for a short time and stop and start. Please check
your speed by doing a PING test as we can not give you a refund once
passwords have been issued and you have logged on to the system.
My forum account work
You need to be activated, we only activate
those with a legitimate connection to pole dancing, so that we can
keep the forum a safe place for people to discuss pole related
topics. Vertical Dance does get very busy so if we have not
contacted you please feel free to contact us and we will activate
you. Please do not assume you have been banned from the forum unless
your login screen states YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED, your account may have
become in active or you may have changed some thing on your account
which has rendered it inactive and requires you to be reactivated,
if this has happened please contact us with your username and we
will reactivate you. Any other problems please feel free to discuss
them with us.
My affiliate account work
As with the forum account we need to
activate you, if this has not been done, please contact us and we
will activate you. You need to follow the instructions in your
account in order to put the link on your website. this must be
performed correctly or your sales will not be recorded and you will
not be given your percentage.
My Password work
There can be a number of reasons.
Are you typing it in correctly - the best thing to do is to cut and
paste it
Are you being case sensitive - what we mean is are you typing it
using lower and upper case where needed?
Have you changed some thing on your account and need to be
reactivated?
Some times your computer stores
passwords and if you have typed them incorrectly it will not allow
you to log on, so you need to clear the memory.
If all else fails to the login section and click on forgotten
password and it will send you another one. Please also check that
you have given us the correct email, as the system will only send
out a password to the email address we have.
